Birth Options

  - create or recreate geometry from grown ivy structure
  - diameter of branch geometry relative to Ivy Size or chosen units

  - create ivy as polygon mesh object
  - create adult leaf, young leaf, and branches as three separate polygon objects (placed under a Null object)
  - create adult and young leaves as two sets of Cinema 4D R11.5 Render Instances (each placed under a Null object; Separate Branch/Leaf Objects is implicit)
  - create a spline object representing the ivy branches
  - child spline object to a Sweep NURBS object
  - taper sweep to this scale at end of growth
  - use the spline referenced here as cross-sectional spline of Sweep NURBS
  - create a special IGSpline object for animating the ivy branch growth
  - child spline object to a Sweep NURBS object
  - taper sweep to this scale at end of growth
  - use the spline referenced here as cross-sectional spline of Sweep NURBS
  - restore above options to default values
